First, anyone here on MySpace? I keep checking my site’s usage stats and someone’s linking to me from there. But I don’t have a MySpace account so I can’t see who it is. And, no, I don’t really want a MySpace account. Why? Because I’m not a 14-year-old girl. Nor am I a 53-year-old man looking for a 14-year-old girl. Okay that wasn’t fair. There’s actually two very good reasons I don’t want a MySpace account. First is because I don’t have time to keep up another on-line personality. And secondly, because MySpace is owned by Fox.
Second, can someone explain to me why every time I think about joining an on-line discussion group about Buddhism I invariably see Buddhists arguing about some pretty petty things? Oh right. Because Buddhists are people and people can be petty. But that’s not the point. The point is, if anyone knows of a good Buddhist forum that doesn’t devolve into petty bickering about different definitions of dukkha, let me know.
Third, I’ve lifted the ban on unsolicited comments in this blog. Comment to your heart’s content!
Fourth, check back soon for the Official Personal Space Rant (aka, it’s been a long day in North Berkeley).
