This morning I went by the Employment Information Services center here at the conference. It’s a place where employers can list jobs and candidates can apply and interview and stuff. I decided to hang out in the “candidate lounge” to look through listings. Once I got in there I immediately felt nervous and depressed. And I realized that this lounge is where people wait for job interviews. You cut the tension in there with a knife. It’s crazy.
So I got the hell outta there. I really hope that my part-time gig at the Institute turns into a full-time gig. Everyone thinking good thoughts?
Apart from that, the conference so far has been pretty uneventful. My brother found this article on Digg yesterday. Apparently there’s a panel on the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I really wish I’d known that before I booked my plane flight home. Oh well.
Alright. It’s about lunch time, I’ve been walking all over down town, I’m hot and tired, and need to relax a bit before all tonight’s revelry!
