This past Monday was my wife’s and my first anniversary. To celebrate, in addition to heading out of town for some much needed rest and relaxation, we got ourselves all tattooed up.
Mine is one of the eight auspicious symbols common in Tibetan Buddhism, the knot of eternity, symbolizing interconnectedness, etc.; hers are flowers from the wedding. Mine took all of twenty minutes. Hers took over two hours. She’s hard core.
As you can imagine, all this has been making me feel extraordinarily punk rock all week.
