I will be giving a talk on Shin Buddhism to the San Francisco Gay Men’s Buddhist Sangha during their weekly “Every Day Dharma” session.
The talk will be a general overview of Shin Buddhist teaching and practice as part of a larger series of other guest speakers in which the group is exploring a diverse set of Buddhist traditions including Nichiren, Korean Zen, and the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order.
The Gay Men’s Buddhist Sangha is a pan-Buddhist lay group that meets regularly to explore the Dharma more deeply and support one another’s practice. The Every Day Dharma talk will be held at the Hartford Street Zen Center (from whom they rent space but are not affiliated) in San Francisco’s Castro District.
